What do Sunday Mornings look like for my kids?
Nursery
The Nursery is specifically designed for infants and toddlers.
Our clean, organized space is well-staffed with trained and background checked volunteers that will take care of your little ones from Birth until 3 years old.
Care is provided during Sunday School beginning at 10:00am and both of our main Worship Services at 8:30am & 11:00am.
It is also provided during our Sunday Evening Service at 6:00pm.

Sunday School
Sunday School is held on Sunday Mornings from 10:00-10:45am.
Kids ages 2 years through 6th grade are separated by age
into 5 different classes. These classes are taught by our trained and background checked volunteers who excel at teaching about God and His Word, as well as how to practically apply that teaching to the child's life.
We are currently working our way through Answers Bible Curriculum. This exciting curriculum contains lessons that cover the entire Bible chronologically in four years, providing a powerful overview of God's Word.

Children's Church
Children's Church is on Sunday Mornings and takes place during the main Worship Services at both 8:30am and 11:00am. This is a place where younger kids ages 3 and 4 years old can go while the Worship Service is taking place. These classes are taught by our trained and background checked volunteers who make this time both productive and enjoyable as the kids experience singing, snacks, games, and a Bible story.
Mid-Week Programs
AWANA: PreSchool-8th Grade
Wednesday Nights: September-May, from 6:00-8:00pm
AWANA is an international children’s ministry that teaches children that God is real, He loves them, and He has expressed that love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The goal of AWANA is to give boys and girls the chance to know, love and serve God.
Our AWANA program here at First Baptist in Colville currently offers 4 of AWANA’s different programs for different age groups. All groups enjoy Bible lessons, verse memory, songs, games, and, of course, snack time.

Summer Activities
Summer Hangout: Newborn-6th Grade

Bring Your Kids and Your Lunch and come hang out with your friends here at FBC!
We will have FREE activities for you and your kids in the church gym.
Please note: Childcare will NOT be provided! This is an opportunity for you to spend time with your kids while meeting-up and hanging-out with other families in a fun, safe environment.
At each week's Hangout, we will have tables for you to eat and visit at, one of our inflatables up and running, and a fun Make & Take Activity. No need to sign-up, just come anytime between 11:00am & 1:00pm!

Vacation Bible School: 3 years-6th Grade
NEXT EVENT: August 3rd-7th, 2026, from 6:00-8:30pm
The cost is FREE, and this program is available for children 3 years old, to those entering 6th grade next fall. This year, our theme is Psalm 23 - Providing Hope to a Fearful Generation!
In a world filled with worry and confusion, kids need to know there is a God who cares for them.
At Emerald Crossing VBS, they’ll journey through Ireland’s lush landscapes, exploring
the powerful words of Psalm 23. They’ll discover the life of the shepherd-king David and will learn
how to cross from worry to peace, from fear to faith, and from uncertainty to a firm foundation
in God’s Word through a relationship with the Good Shepherd.
Beauty and adventure await us each day at Emerald Crossing, where lads and lasses will gather at the Emerald Isle Assembly—a high-energy beginning that includes wacky intros, lively songs, and prayer.
Then they’re off to rotate through five fun sites: Music & Lessons, Games, Snacks, Science & Crafts, and Verses. Finally, everyone heads back to the All-Aboard Assembly for the closing, where there’s more singing and the highly anticipated daily drama.
