AWANA AWANA begins in the fall every Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. for all children Kindergarten through 6th Grade. (For more information about each of these specific clubs in our Awana just click on the programs below)
Sparks (Kindergarten through Second Grade) Truth-n-Training (Third Grade Through Sixth Grade) Adopt-A-Club (All Clubs Support this Ministry)
AWANA teaches Bible-based Christian values such as obedience to parents and service to others in an exciting and enjoyable way. Each AWANA night we have three primary areas of activity as follows:
Each child (clubber) need to bring dues of $.50 per week or you may pay a one-time fee of $15.00 for the year per clubber (families with three or more pay a maximum of $1.50 per week or $45.00 per year). The dues paid help pay for the operating expenses of the AWANA club, which include, awards and other expenses. Each clubber will be given an entrance test and any award earned by them. Clubbers are asked to purchase handbooks ($7.00 each) and uniforms ($12.00 - $13.00 each). The book is needed by the clubber to earn awards. When the award is received, it is placed on their uniform. Each clubber who pays dues, brings their book, wears their uniform, brings their Bible, completes memorization exercises, attends Sunday School, and participates during the game time will accumulate points for his/her team, which help to determine the winning team for each evening.
